Travel to Budapest
Budapest is well connected by international air, rail, coach and road links.
By air
Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport (BUD) is approximately 16 km southeast of the city centre. The planning materials recommend the 100E Airport Express as the most convenient public transport connection to central Budapest, alongside official airport taxis and other ground transport options.
By train
Budapest’s main international railway stations — Keleti, Nyugati and Déli — are connected to the metro network. International rail links connect Budapest with cities across Central and wider Europe.
By coach or car
Long-distance coach services connect Budapest with many European cities. Visitors arriving by car should note that central parking is limited and public transport is generally more convenient for conference travel.
Getting around Budapest
Budapest has an extensive public transport network operated by BKK, including four metro lines, trams, buses, trolleybuses and suburban rail services. For Corvinus, the source material particularly highlights Metro M4 and trams 2, 47 and 49.
The BudapestGO app combines journey planning, traffic information and ticket/pass purchasing. MOL Bubi bike-sharing stations are also available around central Budapest and near Corvinus.

Visa information
Hungary is part of the Schengen Area. Visa requirements depend on nationality and individual travel status. Participants who require a short-stay Schengen visa should consult official Hungarian and EU sources well before travel.
The planning content states that the conference organisers can provide a letter of invitation to registered participants who require visa documentation; the final procedure is to be confirmed closer to the conference date.

Getting to campus
The main Corvinus campus is adjacent to Fővám tér and the Great Market Hall. Metro M4 stops at Fővám tér; Kálvin tér on Metro M3 is also within walking distance. Tram 2 stops beside the campus, while trams 47 and 49 also serve Fővám tér.
